Kids Meditation & Stillness

Ages: Kids 6-12

This gentle, grounding class invites children to slow down, tune in, and explore the peaceful space within. Using age-appropriate techniques like breath games, visualization journeys, sound bowls, and mindful storytelling, we guide kids to connect with their bodies, emotions, and imaginations in a safe and supportive way.

Each class offers a balance of quiet reflection and light-hearted connection, helping children build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to return to calm—even in a busy world. Perfect for sensitive or high-energy kids, this class nurtures inner stillness through joy, not pressure.

Mindful Stretching & Strengthening for Kids

Ages: Kids 6-12 (Adults Welcome)

Practitioner: Joelyn Nowlin

Date/Time: every other Tuesday 5:00pm-6:00pm

Move, stretch, and breathe—together.
This special class is designed for kids and their grown-ups to connect through playful movement, gentle stretching, and mindful breath.

 

We’ll begin with light, dynamic movements to warm up our bodies, then explore fun and relaxing stretches that help improve flexibility, focus, and calm—while also strengthening our connection to one another. Whether you're touching your toes or reaching for the sky, every movement will be guided with kindness and curiosity.

 

Along the way, we’ll practice:

  • Tuning into how our bodies feel—without judgment

  • Using breath to find calm and balance

  • Building strength through mindful movement

  • Supporting and encouraging each other as a team

 

This is a calm but fun class that blends movement and mindfulness in a way that works for all ages. No experience necessary—just bring your body, your breath, and your willingness to try something new.

Kids Yoga & Mindful Movement

Ages: Kids 5-12

This playful and grounding class introduces children to the foundations of yoga and breath through games, stories, music, and imaginative movement. Designed to support emotional regulation, focus, and body awareness, each class invites kids to explore poses, partner activities, and short guided meditations in a fun and encouraging environment.

These heart-centered workshops are designed to help children explore their emotions, creativity, and inner world through mindful movement, imaginative play, and expressive art. Each session weaves in a core mindfulness principle—such as presence, compassion, or confidence—paired with a hands-on activity like nature crafts, storytelling, painting, or yoga-based games.


Our goal is to create a safe, playful, and nurturing space where children feel free to be themselves, connect with others, and discover the light within. Activities vary weekly but always center around emotional awareness, intuitive exploration, and joyful creativity.
