Let It Be Messy

A Full-Day Retreat
April 11th, 2025 | 9:30am – 6:30pm

You don't have to have it together.

Life isn't supposed to look a certain way.

This retreat is an invitation to stop tidying up, stop pretending everything is fine, and to sit — really sit — with all of it.

The mess.

The unfinished work.

The feelings that don't have names yet.

This is a full day to go underneath the surface. Beneath the stories you keep telling. Beneath the patterns that keep showing up and into the tender, honest ground that lives below all of it.

The mess is not the problem. It's the doorway.

What The Day Holds

A Carefully Crafted Arc From Arrival To Integration

Your day will move through a natural sequence — beginning with gentle arrival and grounding in the morning, moving into deeper experiential and somatic work in the afternoon, and closing with time for reflection and integration.

Along the way you’ll experience guided breathwork, movement, RoquesAnn’s teaching The Work Beneath the Work, immersive group experiences, journaling, intuitive collage, oracle cards, letter writing, and closing with a long restorative sound bath.

This retreat is designed for anyone ready to stop managing the surface and start meeting what’s underneath. No experience necessary.

No performance required. Just you, as you are.

Where The Day Takes You

Group Yoga Class

Yoga & Breathwork

We begin in the body. A grounding yoga practice followed by guided breathwork — two invitations to shake loose what you're carrying and drop beneath the noise.

Writing With Pen

Journaling & Letter Writing

From private reflection to a letter from your wisest self — two invitations to meet what's true on the page, without judgment or performance.

The Work Beneath the Work

One of RoquesAnn's signature teachings, a framework for understanding what's really driving your patterns, and how to begin working with it at the root.

Intuitive Collage

No skill, no rules, no right answer. Just your hands, a pile of beautiful materials, and whatever wants to come through. Let your heart be your guide.

You Are Special Experience

The heart of the day. An immersive, facilitated group journey into the labels and stories you've been carrying — and what it truly feels like to set them down.

Integration Circle & Sound Bath

Come back together, share what moved, and then lie down and let the sound do the rest. The only thing left to do is receive.

The Heart Of The Day

The Work Beneath the Work

At the center of this somatic healing retreat is an experience inspired by the children’s story You Are Special — a powerful, facilitated journey into the labels, judgments, and stories we’ve allowed to stick to us over time, and what it feels like to let them fall away.

Led by RoquesAnn, this session is the reason we build the whole morning the way we do. You’ll arrive at it open, grounded, and ready.

This Retreat Is For You If...

You don't have to be in crisis to be here. You don't have to have done this kind of work before. You just have to be willing to show up honestly.

This retreat is for you if:

  • You've been feeling like something is off beneath the surface, but you can't quite name it

  • You're tired of managing, performing, and keeping it together

  • You're ready to stop running from the hard stuff and start moving through it

  • You're craving a day that's just for you — no roles, no responsibilities, no pretending

  • You've done personal growth work before and you're ready to go deeper

  • You're new to this kind of work and feel quietly called to try

If something in you is pulling you toward this day, that's enough of a reason to come.
